Ziyang Chen

Ziyang Chen (陈子扬) is currently a PhD student at Computational Light Laboratory led by Kaan Akşit in University College London. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King’s College London, UK, in 2021, followed by a Master’s degree in Computer Graphics, Vision, and Imaging from University College London, UK, in 2023. Ziyang is deeply interested in computational imaging.

Dec 14, 2025 I attended SIGGRAPH Asia 2025 in Hong Kong, where I had the opportunity to connect with many talented researchers and professors—a truly inspiring experience!
Aug 29, 2025 Our work, “Learned Display Radiance Fields with Lensless Cameras” , has been accepted to the Technical Communications program at ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2025, to be held in Hong Kong, China. This work is a collaboration with Yuta Itoh and Kaan Akşit.
Feb 06, 2025 🏅 Our work, “SpecTrack: Learned Multi-Rotation Tracking via Speckle Imaging” , won the honorable mention award under the posters program at ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. This work is a collaborations with a series of academic and industry partners including Ziyang Chen, Mustafa Doğa Doğan, Josef Spjut, and Kaan Akşit.
